Hubby, I am sad that you are so down and need a lift. I know from past posts that you were coping better. In case you haven't done so already, have you spoken to your internist a counselor or your wife's movement disorder neurologist for advice? PD is a brutal disease for both the PwP and the caregivers. I emphasize with you. Please keep in touch with us. We care about you. Best, Marc M., Moderator, ParkinsonsDisease.Net

It's so hard living with PSP in your life because you feel so bad for all of your waking life.. I am probably not going to last much longer but I want to know how and when I am going to go.. I struggle to eat ,and walk or talk. Nobody can understand me and it's just so frustrating that they give up listening. While telling me not to give up. It seems that every day I lose another piece of my identity and I'm disappearing rapidly.

It is disheartening to feel so down and helpless I am sure and my heart goes out to you. I can feel your pain. I agree with that perhaps seeing a counselor might be helpful in finding some strategies for coping with such difficult feelings and help you find some peace. Let us know how you are doing and know that we care . Thea DeStephano Community Team Member
