carbidopa/levodopa and fatique

been on 25/100 quick release CL for about a month - have noticed some fatique the last week or so / almost 75 yr old diagnosed about 1.5 yrs ago (probably had PD 2-3 yrs before that) / no sense of smell, slight difficulty swallowing (no blockage) and some slight to moderate hand tremors / strong as ever , good balance - exercise every day (rock steady, walking w/ a little weight lifting)

  1. Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you noticing improvement in your PD symptoms with the levodopa/carbidopa therapy? Do you think the fatigue was brought on by the treatment or the Parkinson's itself? I hope you have plenty of support at home to help you when the fatigue hits. All the best, Kathy (Team member)

  2. been on 3 pills a day about 2-3 weeks and noticed fatique in last week or so - live alone but don't need any help (able to keep the house and yard work up) - even when fatiqued can walk 3-5 miles on days I don't do rock steady - girlfriend says tremors have improved some - also have minor problems w/ low voice (do voice exercises which helps a lot) - maybe have lost a little strength but can still easily climb 6' step ladder to clear gutters on my house (could get up on the roof if I wanted to) - can also easily run if I want to (never get too tired during rock steady workouts - still the best in the class) - may start playing softball next week) --- but despite all my activity been experiencing fatique at times daily which I had not before //// thanks Kathy
