Paula Story

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2006. I went to a Neurosurgeon for my back and he suggested DBS. My family was glad I had it put in. I have trouble with my hands locking up, I have restless legs syndrome, and bladder problems. I can’t grip anything with my left hand. I know my family didn’t sign up for this. I can’t get it back so I guess I’ll just live with it.
