My Story

I fell a few times and wondered why? Then on a World Cruise one night I said to myself, it feels like my feet aren't connected to my brain, my feet wouldn't move like I expected. On the internet, I asked why am I falling so often? What are the early symptoms of Parkinson's? I had six of the early signs. The internet told me to check with my PCP. A visit with a neurologist and a brain scan confirmed Parkinson's. But, I feel very lucky that I don't have the tremors. Two of my sisters each have a son who has Parkinson's much worse then me. Both of my nephews have the tremors.
