It's HELL, but I've been there before

My name is Ron, I'm 80 years old, and a 100% disabled Vietnam Vet with over 20 years of all active service. I'm diagnosed with PTSD, COPD, VERTIGO, and HBP, thanks to Agent Orange. I have been hospitalized for radiation poisoning, heavy metals, and TIA's. Now four months ago Parkinson's, it's tough, but I was in SOG V, Special Op's.

  1. Hi Ron, you have endured so much - my heart goes out to you. I truly hope you know our community is here for you - to support you in any way we can. Parkinson's is no walk in the park, our community gets it. How are you doing this week? Please feel free to reach out with any PD related questions or if we can simply offer a listening ear. We care, and again, are here for you. Kindly, Jessica (Team Member)

    1. Thank you for your kind reply.

      1. Hi Ron,
Thanks for writing. Can you go online? Clubs, video games for us slow folks...I'm looking for the latter. I feel you are a good strong person, although we all feel "up against it" with PD. I'm 5.5 years in and have had a friend who has PD, but she prefers her solitude (I completely support her in her decision.) I just check in every now and then. Please know so many others feel for you heroic vets, too. Sending heartstrength.

        1. Thank you for your kind reply, it was well needed. I'm pretty much isolated, my wife passed away 10 years ago, and my two boys live out of town. Spending 17 years overseas and not being able to attend any of my high school reunions. i lost contact with every one.
