Apomorphine pump

Anyone else finding this treatment difficult

  1. I've been using the pump for about 6 months, it was a little awkward to start with bur it's just second nature now and it works

    1. Hi how are you doing this week? Are you finding the treatment to be any better? Have you had a chance to speak with your physician about what you are experiencing? Wishing you well. -Jessica (Team Member)

      1. Hi Jessica,
I’m afraid not, I have a lot of support from my GP, I’m so lucky he’s great but he doesn’t have the expertise or knowledge regarding the pump. It’s too specialise!!
Unfortunately to make matters worse I’m now struggling even more as my GP & his colleague think I have polymyalgia rheumatica!!
I’ve been experiencing a lot of pain, increased stiffness + inflammation, my blood tests show increased levels too. I’ve been started on steroids but this is not having a good effect on my PD!!
        C’est la vie.
        Thank you for your interest,
        Chris Snowden

        1. I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing such pain and other symptoms. My heart goes out to you. How are you doing this week since starting the protocol? Wishing you some relief. -Jessica (Team Member)
