The Voices of Our Community: Phil Horton

Welcome to the ParkinsonsDisease.net interview series, "The Voices of Our Community," where we highlight the unique voices and experiences of people living with Parkinson's.

Join me and Angela as we sit down for an interview with Phil Horton to discuss adapting to a Parkinson's diagnosis, combating negative thoughts, and goal setting with Parkinson's.

Phil has been living with Parkinson's since 2014. He says, "...If I just sat around thinking the negative thoughts about Parkinson's, I was gonna miss out on a lot of my life with my kids, my grandkids, with friends ... doing activities that I enjoy." Phil powerfully expresses that although he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's, "It's still me."
