can sleep paralysis and out-of-body experience be part of the Parkinson's symptoms

I have been experiencing out-of-body exp. and lucid dreams throughout my entire life and it was fine with me, but now, as i am having all other symptoms of Parkinson's disease i am starting to think those were just symptoms of a bigger picture
Sergi This is something you need to discuss with your neurologist,I also have always experienced vivid extreme dreams and having several neurological disorders throughout my lifetime my movement disorder specialist believes they may all be related. As a former sleep walker I am grateful that I do not act out my dreams and they are mostly pleasant. S/he may be able to help you find the cause and if this is an early symptom of PD.We are all truly amazing in how we first present with symptoms.Let us know how you are doing and know we will give assistance in anyway possible. Thank you, Thea! I have a lot of early and not-so-early symptoms of PD and, in fact, I just wanted to know if the phenomena I described also belong to this set. I am doing great thank you! Hope you are well too, and sorry for answering so late! Have a lovely weekend!

My 32-year old daughter has always had vivid dreams and nightmares since her teenage years. Although she doesn’t act out her dreams, it is normal for her to be woken up with vivid, frightening dreams. I hope that this is not a prodromal PD symptom. I won’t be mentioning this to her because it will just make her worry. I’ll have to leave it up to her to seek out the opinion of a neurologist, should she choose to do so. I was diagnosed with PD at age 65, 3 years ago now.

Thank you for your comment! Many people have vivid dreams and nightmares and I believe many of them are totally healthy and stay like that until considerable age. Wish you a lovely weekend!
