Sudden onset of increase of freezing of gait

My brother fell and hit his head and a week later his freezing increased to every step. He went to ED and no concussion or bleed or head injury

  1. I am sorry to hear about your brother's situation. You may have done so already, but have you made an appointment with your movement disorder neurologist for a re-evaluation? Best, Marc M., Moderator, parkinsonsdisease.net

    1. I agree with Marc Mitnick that a reevaluation is in order. Any time I have hit my head in a fall I have been checked for a concussion or brain bleed and it was wise of your
brother to do so. Being left with a permanent freezing situation is certainly troubling. Wishing your brother all the best. Please let us know if he finds an answer.

      1. His specialist (Movement) is unable to help him, she has not idea what has occurred

        1. let me clarify. We have a wonderful specialist. Caring smart and very accessible. The freezing increase is puzzling and we wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience.
