Struggle self administering insulin for diabetes

Hello

My diabetic father was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s. He is struggling with administering insulin due to shakey hands. What is an alternative to injectable insulin? Or what are some tips for self administering the injection? Thank you for your help!

  1. My daughter has an insulin pump which releases small doses of insulin continuously and acts in conjunction with her continuous glucose monitor. You can access good information on the the American Diabetes Association website which can lead to a discussion with his doctor as to what might be a good alternative for him. I hope this helps and you find a satisfactory solution. Please feel free to contact us at anytime.

    1. No unfortunately there is no other option for the insulin. Other than diet control to help with his diabetes. Thanks for following up.

      1. I am so sorry to hear that. Following the proper diet can be difficult but is so very important. I wish him all the very best. Thea
