Staying positive

I was diagnosed 7 years ago but I managed to keep an active lifestyle. Gardening is therapeutic and some kind of physical activity. Low impact dancing is very much a needed social activity but you have to get others involved which is not everyone’s cup and tea. I play walking soccer once a week which helps a a lot. Definitely afternoon siesta helps a lot but I never lie in bed for a nap. Recliners are great but please get the one with the remote. Very important feature. In addition to levodopa, I am given Xadago 100mg. Very effective. Plus I strongly believe that vitamin B1 and magnesium helps me stay healthy and steady.

  1. thank you so much for taking the time to share with us! It sounds like you keep busy and have a helpful routine! So glad you have found what is helpful for you. I shared an article on exercise and PD, just in case it may be of interest -https://parkinsonsdisease.net/treatment/exercise. How are you feeling today? I hope it is kind to you.
