Shortness of breath, muscle weakness
Hello! I am 66yrs old and was diagnosed with akinetic-rigid Parkinson's in 2015. Over the past year, I have noted worsening sensation of shortness of breath/shallow breathing during off time. U
I have also noted muscle weakness during off time in the past six months (eg, cannot seem to tighten core muscles especially). These symptoms resolve with next dose of levodopa, but freak me out nevertheless because my sister died of ALS. Is shortness of breath and muscle weakness like this common with akinetic-rigid PD?
