Parkinson's Spell
Me I’m a wild thing.
Sinister lengthy bleak black hair; hip n quirky quiff
Shakes, rattles and rolls, not records, nor old
I am, I’m me! I’ll shake you’ll see.
I never did as I was told! No loyal sheep from the fold.
I have a song in my soul; just let’s say rock n roll.
From wake till late, I never sit still.
This tremor of mine with its own cruel will.
Wild thing at the till; do hurry now, holding up a queue.
Bradykinesia! Not heard? It’s top of the pops; it’s number one.
Topped the charts with rigid muscles and spider writing
Charge me up, cocktail of drugs; soon you’ll have me moving.
To me, I’m still a wild girl with lots of fun to share
Laugh out loud at my leaping limbs; it’s better than a stare
I will always be; I am still me.
