Lindsay's Story

Hi guys. I've been diagnosed with Parkinson’s January this year. I just need to connect with people on my level even though I have my family, e.g. partner and 4 beautiful girls. My mums moved in two years ago as the doc said looking at the DaTscan. Looks like I’ve had it for 5 years which explains a lot, as before diagnosis I was a totally different person and so so poorly. The anxiety was a killer and still is but before being medicated I was a total wreck.

Anyway please could anybody give me some advice on how to stay positive? Don’t get me wrong, I am a doer; I put on a front daily for my family but would really like to connect with Parkinson’s patients. I am 43 now so probably had it since I was 37. Thanks in advance you lovely people. xxx
