What can be done about balance problems?

  1. That's a great question, JimS! A typical way to help treat balancing issues is by medication (typically levodopa & dopamine agonists) in the early stages of PD. Another way folks with PD have found helpful is through physical therapy and exercise. With therapy, there are balance exercises which can be beneficial.     1. I'm using a 4 prong cane. After significant loss in a fall, hand crush, I don't leave home without it. I hope that is helpful
