Stalevo

I was having strong dyskinesia almost non stop. My Dr. switched me to Stalevo which is suppose to contain the same meds I was taking just less pills. I am having no dyskinesia but my movement is off like I'm taking no levodopa. Why would this happen? My days are being wasted, I can hardly function.

  1. Hello. I'm sorry you are experiencing difficulty with your medications and symptoms. This is definitely a big challenge of PD to find the right medication and dosage. We recommend that you consult with your physician for adjusting your medication to see what is best for you. We cannot give medical advice but I have included an article that I hope you will find helpful:

    1. erine187 I agree with Suzanne. Talking with your physician is the best way to determine what medications may or may not work for you. It can be helpful to keep a log with the time you take a particular medication and how it seems to affect you. Including any additional information as to diet and activity can sometimes establish a pattern. My neurologist always has asked to see my log prior to my appointment. It can sometimes be difficult to recall details during a visit. Best of luck in finding what is most effective for you.
