I was diagnosed less than 1 month ago - I can hardly walk because of severe weakness and pain in my legs, from my thighs down to just below my knees.

My husband with PD gets frequent UTI's but has no symptoms other than total leg weakness. It took me a trip to the hospital via ambulance to figure it out. We now have a standing order for urinalysis at doctor's office. Every two weeks. Other than that, he's fine, except for normal PD symptoms of tight leg muscles...massage, hydration, walking with U-Step when he can.

Thank you for your comment, Raionach. I am also prone to UTI's on a frequent basis. Having standard orders for testing is a smart idea! Best, Marc M., Moderator, parkinsonsdisease.net
