Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

After several years after being diagnosed with PD, my diagnosis was changed to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) which is very similar to PD. There is no medication that helps with PSP Sinemet helped for a while but has quit working now. I was wondering how others may have dealt with a similar diagnosis? Do any of them medications really work?

  1. Hello. I'm sorry that you are experiencing difficulty with managing medications. We are here to support you in the PD community. We are not able to give specific medical advice and dosage and we ask our members to refer to the professionals and your doctors for these answers. However, we can give you some research that our editorial staff and writers have found. Here are two articles that hopefully you will find informative on the subject of PSP
