Parkinson’s and thyroid
I have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It started with a tremor on my left hand (pointy finger). I also have a very low TSH (hyperthyroid - multiple nodules). Anyone else experience both. I just feel there’s a connection somehow.
Yes my husband did as well!
My husband has PD and hypothyroidism (not hyper).
We need to study about the Endocrine influence on the Neuro transmitters and Substancia nigra.
@Interesting. I have thought many times I have thyroid problems. Drs tested once or twice but found nothing. Now I find there is a more though test that many doctors don't use. I've intended to try again but havent gotten around to it yet. This post is going to give me the incentive to try again soon.
