My name is Don.

I was told that i have Parkinson's about 8yrs ago. I had tried to stay active until Covid. no more going to the gym depression hit me real bad. did nothing but lay around the house day after day, could not get motivated. and now i am suffusing because i didn't stay active. I am 82yrs. old been active all my life. so here i am.

    1. I understand your frustration. Sometimes forcing yourself to move is very difficult. Do whatever you can at home even if it’s just stretching or sitting and marching in place. Movement can help with motivation as you see improvement. I was confined to bed for almost a month and it was a struggle to get moving again as I was sure I could not do anything. Started with baby steps and made slow steady progress. Try not to give up.
