My cure

I'm 81 and only serious medical problem is heart disease. About a year ago started developing left hand tremors. Six months ago developed full left arm and right hand tremors. Few months basically whole body. Full body tremors when just standing in place. Getting worse fast. Shortness of breath is setting in to. Both family and two neurologists can't seem to nail it down.

I finally fell down and cracked a rib. Pain was intense. Advil didn't seem to help enough. I happen to have an old bottle of 50mg Tramadol so I took one that evening and another the next morning. By late afternoon i noticed tremors had disappeared. Almost completely. To say the least I was really excited. Went out and mowed the lawn. I kept taking the Tramadol for a few days with minor tremors. I stopped after three days and tremors returned over the next few days. I waited a week and tried Tramadol again and it worked. Not as well but maybe cut tremors by 90% or so.

After 3 days dropped the Tramadol for three weeks or so as tremors came back after a few days. Meanwhile I went to visit my family doctor and Neurologist. Both said they had never heard of such a thing. Blank stairs.

So I went another month without Tramadol living with tremors. Seemed to be getting worse so I broke down and took a 50mg Tramadol today. Tremors vastly improved. They aren't going to prescribe Tramadol so I'm off to Mexico next week to buy some.

  1. Have you seen a movement disorder specialist? There are other movement disorders that can cause what you are describing where tremors occur only when standing

    1. I've heard of a doctor in your part of the world, Jack Daniels, take enough of his tincture and a tramadol and everything will stop!
Please let a medical professional diagnose you, never know you may not have it...
      Good luck.
