Motion sickness inquiry

I'm new to PD and just had an unpleasant experience. Out fishing on the ocean I experienced sea/motion sickness in a way I haven't in the past. Not that I was ever comfortable on rough water. I can find my way to seeing how this could be escalated with PD due to that feeling of not being as quick to respond to balance issues. Has anyone here shared this experience? Any thoughts to share?

  1. One of my most common complaints is malaise, or a sense of total body illness which is reminiscent of altitude sickness. It has been a long time since I've suffer motion sickness, but I believe the core feeling is about the same. I do however, experience no or little nausea. Another blogger wrote she felt "hollow", which may describe a similar malaise.

    1. i rarely get motion sickness but when i do its worse with PD. What i do get are panic attacks.
Those come on small spaces. this has prevented me from flying for travel.

  2. Could never travel as a child

    1. Or motion sickness. It at dusk and in the dark, I feel very disoriented

      1. Even before I was diagnosed with Parkinson's, eight years ago, I would feel hollow
whenever I was sick or otherwise out of sorts. I am 74 and remember shaky hollow arms when I was 8 or 9.
