methylphenidate and Parkinson

Hello, I can share that we tried this recently for my father aged 87 PwP and dementia. We thought this would help smooth out my father's sometimes short attention span and add to his day time wakefulness. However, it made him too jittery/wired. The neurologist explained that this sometimes is an effective correction to some people with these symptoms. I have been taking Adderall for 5 yrs. I have had no side effects. My neurologist suggested it to help with fatigue, foggy brain and inability to stay focused due to Parkinson's.
