Very recently I have been experiencing hyperventilation and dry mouth, which is increasing the severity of my tremors. My Rytary does not seem to be helping my tremors.
.Has anyone else had this?
I would suggest you discuss your hyperventilation with your doctor to see if there is an underlying issue. I do find that I can hyperventilate if I am extremely anxious and do take a medication for anxiety. I cannot specify what I take as we cannot give medical advice on this site. Almost all of the meds I take cause dry mouth. My neurologist suggested using Biotene or Thera Fresh mouth rinse which provide some relief .They both also come in a lozenge which lasts a little longer.I hope you find something that works for you. Hi I don't know if you have lollies called Fruit Tingles but I find them great for both a dry mouth and low level nausea that I get from time to time from the sinemet despite being on it for almost 20 years. They are hard fizzy round lollies that contain bicarb soda. Like all sugary food they should be eaten sparingly and in line with any dietary restrictions you have but it might be worth trying or something similar

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disese a year and a half ago, but I have suffered from dry mouth at night for about 5 years. I use a dry mouth spray called Mouth Kote and I find it very helpful. It has a lemon-lime flavour and tastes pretty good.

I to am experiencing hyperventilation and am taking rytery. So I got off rytery and went back to my old script of sinamet for a week. I still experienced hyperventilation. I’m now going through gastro tests because I’ve noticed after I eat ( 1-2 hours later) I start to bloat which pushes up on my diaphragm which bc causes me to be short winded or to hyperventilate. I hope this helps you.
