Goosebumps

For the past couple of months I have been getting goosebumps on both forearms they are quite distracting and go on for some hours, does this ring bells with anyone? Or is this one just for me?

  1. Hi , I have not heard of this happening. Have you talked to your doctor about this? I'd also be curious to know if it's something that can occur with PD or possible a side effects of a medication you're taking? Hoping that other folks will jump in if this is something they have experienced as well! Best, Lauren (ParkinsonsDisease.net Team)

    1. I think there are so many side effects from the meds or combination of them. My Dr put me on Welbutrin for anxiety & for the last year or so about 15 minutes after I took my carbo/levadopa I would start yawning, my nose would start running & my eyes would water like crazy&:I felt like I was coming down with a cold. This would last about 30 minutes & then stop. It didn't happen every time but at least once a day.
I decided to go off Welbutrin & with in 2 weeks those side effects went away.

    2. Some medications can have odd side effects, and the same medication can affect people so differently. I’m glad you were able to figure out it was the Wellbutrin causing those cold symptoms and that they subsided.
Thank you for sharing with us!
      Kindly,
