Freezing

My freezing has been getting progressively worse.
I have had input from physiotherapists but still cannot move at times and falling occurs regularly

  1. Hi , this must be so frustrating for you. Have your doctors made any suggestions? Here's an article I found that you may find helpful: https://parkinsonsdisease.net/living/freezing-of-gait-prevention-treatments

    1. Hi Jaycee53
This week I came up with an idea to help me with my worsening freezing Gate issue.
This may sound strange and simplistic, but If I wear only one shoe it cuts down on my gate freezing by about 80-90%. I was not having any issue while going up or down the stairs so I was trying to think of something to occupy my brain while walking as this was possibly what was helping me on the stairs. Mind you it has only been about 5 days I have tried this but WOW what a instant relief. Also I have just tried wearing two different shoes too and this seems to help a lot also. Know i can wear two different shoes to ACME!
Please let me know if this is helps with your walking at all

      1. This information has helped me bun

    2. May want to see my recent post in a thread on "Running."

      1. Exercise as much as you can as a form of warm up for walking. Best after a new dose of meds for me. I'm using a TRX for exercise in my home.
