Drug issues ?
F Hello,can you help with a problem I have concerning standing/walking?
I have had pd for 22 years and have tried many drug regimes during that time & as the disease progresses it’s becoming more difficult to control.some 3 months ago my medication was changed from stalevo to sinamet+ 125/100 it seems that since then although my mobility wasn,t great b4 it has worsened in that for much of the day I am unable to stand or walk even with aids.I was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences or if anyone had similar problems due to other causes.
Thank you for contacting us. We cannot give medical advice ,but I would certainly suggest that you contact your neurologist. It can be helpful to keep a log as to when problems occur including pertinent information as to what and when you have eaten,etc. Since we are all so different with symptoms and sensitivity to certain medications a Movement Disorder Specialist would be the preferred resource for help.
