Diagnosed with PD 21 years ago. Discovered so many people you encounter while out in public are amazingly kind and understanding!

Even though I was very fortunate not to begin dealing with typical Parkinson’s issues until 3 to 4 years ago, including my ability to walk without assistance. Expecting some negative comments or gestures as I motored through stores, I have been quite surprised and appreciative of the overwhelming support from complete strangers holding doors open and always asking if they could help in any other way. I cannot recall even
even one careless comment from any store employee or customer of any age.

This continuing positive experience with PD gives me happiness and hope for my future living with this difficult disease.
