Diagnosed Three Months Ago
I have been diagnosed with PD about three months ago and have a very difficult time finding med that work. Does any one else share my experience and what worked for you?
My diagnosis was a few years ago but I remember it taking a year or so to find the med combo that worked for me. I took rasagiline for three months with no effect. The dr. doubled the dosage and I took that for three months with very little effect. Ropinirole was added for three months and there was a little effect. Finally carbidopa-levodopa was prescribed and it was readily apparent that this med combo worked for me. I was diagnosed with PD on June 3 2020. I am taking levocarb. One tablet 3 times a day. I experience a wearing off of the medication about an hour before the next pill. Just wondering if an increase in dosage would carry me to the next pill. Any experience with this sore of thing?
