Could it be Parkinsons

I'm new to this forum. I have been having tremors in my left hand for over a year now. Then several months later, pain in the arm as if possible pinched nerve or rotator cuff issue. I've recently noticed that I seem to be dragging my feet and my balance is a little off. I have an appt with orthopedic doctor for the shoulder issue on Sept 7th. I am really concerned it's Parkinsons. Should I go ahead and make appt with neurologist or wait until I see ortho doctor?

  1. Hi Regions02,
I'm sorry to hear that you have a few things going on at once. This can be very stressful! My own father has had PD for 15 years and has other things going on too. It's learning to manage and balance his health. It's good you are being proactive to take care of your own health! You certainly could make an appointment with a neurologist since it might take awhile to get a consultation. I attached an article that you could look over and may help you answer some questions:

Best wishes with your upcoming appointment for your shoulder! Please keep in touch with how you are doing. We care about you here at ParkinsonsDisease.net! Let us know if we can do anything else.
Best regards, Suzanne Troy, Advocate, ParksinsonDisease.net

    1. Thank you so much for your response and the link. I will be making an appt with a neurologist soon.

    2. You are welcome! Best wishes to you and please let us know how things work out for you.
      Blessings, Suzanne T.
