Awaiting Diagnosis is hard

I’m currently awaiting diagnosis from a neurologist for idiopathic Parkinson’s ( more sudden onset)

My tremors have increased and spread to both hands arm and legs over the last 3 months. This is quite debilitating and awaiting a confirmed diagnosis is difficult as treatment is uncertain.

I wondered if anyone else is at this stage and has any management suggestions 🥰

  1. Are you seeing a movement disorder neurologist, Julie? What tests have been given to rule out idiopathic PD? I was diagnosed in 2020 at my movement disorder neurologist's office and given medication. I had to follow up with him in a month to see if the medicine was working. 1. Julie I am sorry you are dealing with this. The worst part of testing for me is always the waiting. Dealing with the anxiety is challenging. Please keep us informed of the results and reach out anytime if you need reassurance. Best of luck. Thea DeStephano Community Team Member
