Anyone else having non-motor issues as their main problem

My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 15 years ago. She has tremors on her left side. She has in the last few years had some issues with internal shaking and light tremor in her right leg. She has Orthostatic Hypotension and is treated by a vascular doctor with Midodrine that she takes on a regular basis. She’s had falls and some hallucinations. Her main problem now is Nausea and Vertigo. She had an Endoscopy and treatment for gastroparesis, however nausea continues without much change. Does anyone else have this non-motor symptom as their main issue? Would like to hear any comments or suggestions.

  1. my heart goes out to you both. Those symptoms can be challenging to manage. How is she doing this week? If you haven't already, we always recommend reaching out to one's physician with new or developing symptoms. Hopefully others will chime in soon with their experiences. In the meantime, I shared an article on managing vertigo in PD - https://parkinsonsdisease.net/clinical/dizziness-vertigo. Sending hugs to you both. -Jessica (Team Member)
