I empathize with your bouts of falling, Ned. I experience falling sometimes. You may have done so already, but have you discussed these symptoms with your movement disorder neurologist? Do you get physical therapy? Regards, Marc M., Moderator, parkinsonsdisease.net

I have a physical therapist 2 days per week. She is great!

That is great, NedW. Physical Therapy exercises are a great addition to PD therapy. Keep up the momentum started by working with the PT. Best, Marc M., Moderator, parkinsonsdisease.net

Ned,
Last week I went to a new Physical Therapist. I go twice a week. My walking has been slow. I use walking sticks to stay balanced and avoid falling. She suggested I use humming or even a radio to keep in rhythm. I have been doing that for a week now and for me it makes a huge difference. My Gait is lighter and I feel quicker. I will keep you all posted on my progress. I have also started acupuncture which seems to work.
Blessings, Mike
