  1. I struggled with a variety but pain and exhaustion were the 2 I dealt with the most for 3 years before I was dx with PD. I was just dx about 3 months ago. I am a 72 year old female who has been active in a wide variety of activities from snow skiing, rock climbing, and horse back riding. Everything came to a halt with the two symptoms I mentioned above. My doctor had no idea what was going on.

The pain was constant throughout my whole body. It was like an extremely severe case of the flu only worse than I have ever had. The exhaustion was also constant but I did not experience rest when I was able to sleep. I gained 50 plus pounds due to the lack of exercise and activity. I also started eating excessive sweets as comfort.
