"Great. I had a short walk this a.m. I try to get at least 6000 steps a day. It is going to be in the 90s here today . I was diagnosed by my PCP about 5 years ago when she noticed my odd gait while walking. Last summer I underwent DBS and am taking lots of Rytary. The Neurologist is still tuning the neurostimulators and meds. As the disease progresses it bocomes an ongoing process. Ther is no one and done with PD. I believe socialization is helpful for me so have resumed volunteering at a local hospital and have rejoined my golf league. I am 77 and a caregiver."
