”Parkinson's Melissa is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, wellness expert, and nationally recognized nutrition educator and speaker. She is the author of several books that promote plant-based eating for both children and adults, available at www.melissashealthyliving.com. As a private practice dietitian, Melissa advocates for balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle for all ages, one small change at a time. She aims to “practice what she preaches” in her everyday life, applying practical tips that encourage healthy habits. Melissa motivates individuals, families, and organizations to live their best lives through counseling, webinars, assemblies, workshop, and partnerships.

Melissa believes that good nutrition plays an essential role in all aspects of health: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. She has a personal connection to Parkinson’s, which sparked her passion for addressing pertinent issues such as constipation, muscle strength maintenance, and boosting antioxidants through meal planning.

Melissa’s company, SuperKids Nutrition Inc, has partnered with the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) to help families prevent lifestyle-related cancers by making impactful health behavior changes.
